eLearning Levels

We have delivered projects covering all 4 areas of eLearning interactivity. There are a few different variations on how to explain these levels. We describe in our own words what each level is based on projects we have completed.

4 Levels of eLearning

Level One

Passive eLearning which equals to minimal interactivity levels. How-to manuals that are converted to PowerPoints, information technology system documentation and plans, basic illustrations, and test questions (multiple choice, true/false) for program evaluations.

Level Two

All of level one content which adds limited eLearning elements. These include interactive PowerPoint module types with more dynamic graphics, video-captured learning (recorded lectures, etc.) provided with test questions.

Level Three

All of level two capabilities including moderate eLearning elements. This range includes lower to higher levels of interactivity involving basic scenarios, simple gamification, and complex test questions (flip cards, matching, multiple response, etc.).

Also included is training/instruction over virtual spaces (Adobe Connect, etc.) and various certificate programs that are provided by LMS environments.

Level Four

All of level three capabilities that are added to immersive eLearning elements. These are high level interactivity modules involving complex scenarios, situational gamification designs, customizable avatar interactions, sound and recording variations (edited sound, green screens, etc.) and other additional interactive media.

Customizable graphics and 360* environments may be included here at their simpler levels.

Is there a Fifth Level?

We believe there is a fifth level currently on the horizon: the Metaverse and all 3D-virtual environment types. Think Microsoft's HoloLens, Meta's Quest2, HTC Vive products, etc.

We believe that the metaverse is currently helping and will help learners that need specific virtual environments to improve their physical workplace.

IzmSystemDesigns has begun to take action and is on the cusp of being included within this 'space.'
